Biography

Siri is a data scientist with experience in equity and inclusion analysis and implementation. Her work includes the creation and application of diversity centric processes and strategies, focusing on how data science can empower communities, individuals, and policy-makers to improve outcomes and maximize societal benefits. Siri has worked for a local government, revising their recruitment policies, increasing the diversity of their candidate pools and has experience creating equity impact assessment tools for evaluation of counties policy, legislative, and budget actions. Siri is a lecturer at the University of Virginia’s Department of Urban and Environmental Planning as well as the university’s Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Community Partnerships.
